Overstock.com has a great deal on this leatherette bed with a surprise. The attractive bed has a mattress that lifts up from the foot end and reveals a large storage area beneath.
The mattress is lifted and held up with the assistance of gas powered struts. Many people have made DIY versions of this type of bed to make the most out of limited space, but we haven’t seen many retail options until recently. We don’t know about build quality and longevity of this piece, but it’s encouraging to see products like this in the mainstream.
